The Vegepup™ supplement is intended for use with Vegepup™ recipes. Recipe brochures ship with the product and you can find recipes information in the top menu bar above. Read the introductory portion of the recipe brochure thoroughly before preparing meals. Recipes list the amount of supplement required for that recipe. You may increase or decrease the amount of food you prepare by proportionally increasing or decreasing all ingredients in the recipe. If you create your own recipes, closely based on ours, divide the daily serving size between meals. It is best to mix the supplement into prepared warm food, but the supplement can also be added during the cooking process.
On average, recipes need 1 tablespoon (15g) of Vegepup for every 1000 calories or 3 tablespoons (45g) of Vegepup for every 3000 calories in the recipe.
To find out how many calories to feed your pup per day, ask your vet or use a calorie calculator. Each of our recipes lists the number of calories in the entire recipe. You can divide your prepared meal into cups to determine the calories per cup and amount to feed. Young puppies benefit from multiple feedings per day.
